Christmas Party at Meth sevana Orphage

Along with the Interact Club of Isipathana College, we had a great opportunity of bringing smiles and laughter on the faces of the differently abled by organizing a Christmas Party at the ‘Mithsewana Home’, Bellanthara on the 28^th of December 2013.

On this day we managed to entertain them through games like pillow passing, throw ball & balloon dance and also we offered them a heartfelt meal which they enjoyed immensely. We were able to discover various talents among all 75 of them while spending an unforgettable time.

Shramadana Cleaning of the school premisus

There was a Shramadana Campaign on 1^st of February 2014. We organized this Shramadana in parallel with our School Prith Ceremony. We started in the morninga.m. we cleaned our school premises with the help of all interactors, prefects’ guild and parents. This was the Green Life Project For the interact years 13/14.

Recognition of Minor Staff

As giving hand to people, who are starving because of poverty, we did a project on giving gift packs to the minor staff of our school. For that we have chosen 18 members of the minor staff.

We gave the gift packs on 3rd of April 2014 as a present for the Sinhala & Tamil New Year celebration. We did that on the purpose of, to see a smile on their face too, in this New Year. We supplied the things which they need for their day today life such as milk powder, sugar, rice, and etc & we hope that it would be really helpful for them.

Inter House Sports meet Food Sales Fund Raiser

We held Food Fiesta’14 on 10^th February 2014 on the rehearsal day of our Inter House Sports meet at the Havelock Grounds. It was the financial project for the 3^rd Quarter and all the interactors contributed food fiesta by preparing food items. There were 4 stalls in the corners of the ground selling different kinds of food items such as Fresh Juice, Ice-cream, Submarines and pickle. Through this project we gained some fund for our future projects. 

NATIONAL FLAG

Under the Club service project for the 3^rd Quarter we have donated A National Flag & A School Flag on 11th of February 2014 to our school Asst. principal Mrs. Karuna Gamage under the supervision of the teachers’ incharge of Games Mrs. Anoma Gunawardana & Mrs. Jayantha Rani Bandara.
